Malaysians, it is time to come
home!
I was once like many Malaysians who are
disappointed with our country, I was once thinking of leaving this
country for good and never come back again, I was once asking and
reminding my kids that the only hope for them is to get educated
overseas and stay there for good, however, all these beliefs and
obsessions changed after May 9 2018.
I was once a young voter back 20 years
ago, reading Karpal Singh and Lim Kit Siang books and dreaming about
a fair and prosperous future Malaysia. I followed their ceramahs
during every single general election and hoped that one day our
country will be a better place for every Malaysian regardless of
their race, religion and colour.
I was once sombre looking at how
raced-based party politicians destroyed the foundation our
forefathers have laid for this country. I was once heartbroken and
burst in tears looking at how our judicial, legistative and
excecutive systems were tampered by shameless law-makers.
I was once given up hope in this
country and thought that this country is doomed due to rampant
corruption and cronyism.
After countless disappointment and
helplessness I have gone through since I first voted in 1998, finally
a new dawn began in Malaysian after this election.
I must thank all Malaysians that you
all have changed my perception about this country after May 9 2018. I
started to believe in this county again after GE 14.
Now, I believe that we together can
shape this country to be a better , stronger and more united nation.
We all have spoken loud and clear that
this country belongs to every single of us regardless of race,
religion and colour. We rakyat are the ones that decide on the faith
of this country and not the selfish policiticians who robbed and
cheated us.
Yes, thank you fellow Malaysians, you
all have convinced me that Malaysia can be a greater and more united
nation. We are tolerable and moderate and live in harmony, we have
proven to the world that we are ready to change to be a better
nation.
We have voted unanimously against
corruption, croynism and egosim of a coalition that has diverted from
their original aim laid by our forefathers.
We have voted against a regime that can
modify our history books and poisoin our young generations that one
race is above others.
We have voted against politicians that
put money and self enrichment above Rakyat.
Trust me fellow Malaysians, we can do
anything and bring Malaysia to a greater height if we stay united
regarless of our background, religion and colour.
Now, I am telling my children that they
can stay in this country and how bright their future will be if our
government practices clean, accountable and transparent policies.
Hello fellow Malaysians, it is time to
come home if you are still out there, it is time for all of us to
contribute our ideas and wisdom in building up our beloved nation
again. It is time to come home and kiss this land and put our energy
to help Malaysia to stand tall again!
